MEDICARE AS SECONDARY PAYER (MSP):

Topaz is fully HIPAA compliant to bill electronically for MSP claims.

SPECIAL, CHARGED TO PROCESSED REPORT:

While all systems report charges and payments, Topaz continually updates and reports a special figure indicating the processed amount of the original billed amount for any period. 

As the payments are received the processed amount is updated as well. 

It is therefore possible to go back and check the billed amounts of any period and compare them to the processed amount.

The ideal situation is when the two amounts become equal; meaning all the charges billed in the period have been fully collected or processed.

HANDLING CAPITATED CHECKS : 

Simply enter the amount the date and the capitated group.

The program will distribute the check out proportionally to all the patients belonging to the group who visited the clinic for the payment period.

Appropriate report will be generated with statistical analysis of bill to pay ratios.

CO-PAY COLLECTION AT FRONT WINDOW WITH PATIENT RECEIPT.

Program tabulates all monies collected at the front window and posts them to the accounts upon demand.
